To be given an opportunity to capture a family "private event" made me and grumpy felt so honored and blessed. Freezing this important moment in their life where they only shared with the special ones had made us felt so honored. Thank you so much for the opportunity given to us Ms and the warmness of those few hours made us felt so homey. Anyway, since its their private event neither I wanted to ruin everything, I decided to just give random post for a quick look :-)
I did make them look handsome , right? No wonder, they got so addicted to my photography! Closed the place a bit earlier than usual and we decided to just go across. Me and Grumpy promised them for a treat at Magnum Cafe even both of us craved for it since yesterday. We ordered 2 main course and 2 deserts for a share which was great choice! And gosh, never knew the craziness, laughter and fun continued until they close around 10 pm and we still took pictures outside the cafe. The security must be very pissed off ;p!
TODAY's Lesson : Having fun at work is essential. Do you know it just take few minutes or an hour or two of "good time" to refresh your mind with new spirit? Personally, I encourage the employers to give some "freedom" and "having fun" time in an office (if you have small office) so all of them (including you) can be more energetic. Especially when you are working in creative industry, do steal some few minutes from your hectic schedule for relaxation even by means 5 - 10 minutes quick nap. True, you never know where can your idea comes from, but working under stress is not helping neither. It's better to spend 10 minutes with laughters then comes up with new ideas, than isolated you and others in a cubicle room and push the brain to think, to create and to be creative when your brain is already stuffed!
Apart from that, having fun at work together also help you to get to know deeper of your employees and let the employee understands you more too. Building a team is knowing each other strengths and weaknesses, joined them together to reach the success so no one stays still in the ground. The truth, If your company profits is doubled every month, then do increase your employees salary too! For you, increasing $5 (let's say) may just means nothing but for them, it shows big appreciations. Your company won't run well without a strong team :)
As for us, both of them are friends before and after work and having them as a part of the team is just the right choice! we don't work as individual but as a team :)
Done with the photo-shoot until lunch time, we went back to the exhibition, checking how things went and all of us surprised toward today's traffic. I did not learn anything much today knowing most of time I was out of the place but i guess i learnt about " HAVING FUN at work HELPS"! We do get too serious a lot of time in achieving our target or giving too much for everything. What do we forget is that working requires refreshing and often we should just divert our focus by having fun. The whole members are here, so me and the guys decided to just be relaxed knowing the traffic in the area surprisingly slow (it's weekend everyone)
Two hours before the closing time, we were just loosen up, being silly, laughed and apparently, the guys were doing a "profile photo-session" with me! ha-ha-ha-ha! And oh, they also did boyband photo-shoot kind of style too *oh dear*
