L.O.V.E hanging out!

What a marvelous tuesday it was for me albeit I had to wake up early in the morning for blood test. See, the truth, yesterday night I had those food and beverage which I wasn't supposed to have but I did burnt some calories at night so hope for the best. Who could had resisted that super delicious Nutella Milkshake from D'Journal. Later, after woke up so early, I felt so sleepy that although I slept for two hours, I still felt so tired, it was surely awesome nap! Today, the whole group gathered and everyone was so busy with their own works. Everything felt just so right even there were 5 of us in that small room yet it felt like we were in a proper big office. The comfort, the fun, the seriousness; They were all just blended so well. The right people with the right place at the right time which even make me feel we need to find a proper office and workshop as soon as possible. Then at night, we met Rini and Andre for dinner. At first, we were supposed to meet at 7pm but ended up at around 8.40pm and around 10 minutes to find a place with our starving face.

Gathered together with them made you forget the world. Some random talks but ended with lots of laughter and happy moments. Definitely the best stress remedy - laughter. It wasn't the place I guess, more over the people who we were with but glad that we chose this "Serba Food" at Central park. Like always, we didn't realize how fast the time flies and time to go home it was (almost 11pm). I've known Andre, Rini and Dede for almost 4 or 5 years , I think but for sure it's more than 3 years. We were going on the same photography's school and glad that we kept in touch until now. Being with them is just like being in a comedy show, so much fun to be with and being so thankful for this moment.  Thank you for this awesome Wednesday, LORD and being with each of them is wonderful and you can see how happy each of us was :)

" The best medicine for stress or depression is Laughter. And in order to have great time, you just have to find the right group of people to spend with! With the best supporters, your life will be less messy, easier and happier. " , true? :)

My Best Fish Friend! : Fini

Let me introduce you, my best friend for the past 3,5 months, a beta fish name Fini. We were so closed together and his death made me depressed for the whole day. Both of them got the bacterias but Bluey's condition is the worst 95% of his fins were gone. So I brought a medicine and treated both of them but what I did wrong, this new medicine is a way too strong for my red baby, Fini. Instead I made both of them better, I have killed my dearest ones.

One day before he died, whenever the medicines hit the "painful spot" he would covered his face with all of his fins. But little did i realize that he was seriously in pains.  Look how much in pains he was until he covered his face. All the parasite were under his mouth. Fini was so playful and would had done everything to get my attentions. He would had pretended to die or did not eat or whatever he could shown so I would teased him and gave my put attentions to him.

Fini, is more than just a fish, he was more of my best companion whom acted like a dog rather than a fish. No one would believe what I said about him but those who've seen and experienced knew I was so right. He slept in my room because he hatred the noise in the bathroom. Fini slept when I slept and woke up when I woke up but sometimes, once in a while, I had to wake him up.  Now, I'm going to miss saying goodnight and good morning to him. Fini loves to show off in front of me and would made me angry on purpose because he didn't eat. He had touched the heart of those who met or heard his amazing story. Did you know he sleep like a dog? He would put all his body and fins, lay down in the stone. He would accompanied me until I finished my work and would watched movie together with me as long it isn't chinese movie.

Fini would put his full attentions to those who came to my room for a visit as he was very protective towards me. More over, he loves to act but one thing for sure, he was an amazing gift! It's been like 2 weeks since he passed away and I do still missed him a lot! Often I could said "good morning or good night" and prayed for him too! 10 days felt like its been forever and I miss him a lot! I wrote this the night he died and I really wanted him alive even until now :(

18th April (at 7.30 am after I buried him)

Finally a morning has arrived and I burried you more or less at the time I got you at night. Tears kept dropping when they called your name and you shouldnt left me this early! Have so much love for you, counting hours to morning and kept telling my mind and even dreamt you would be alive again. I really love you that much and lost you made me felt so guilty. Koko gave you to me to take care, to cherish and to love. He said to give peace in me so I wont be angry a lot. And Seeing you had given me peace, joy and happiness. A fish you were but I treated you as if you were human. Night is so going to be long by my side without your presence in my room. I knew I'm like a kid who cried but you really had colored my daily life. You cherished me everyday with a story to tell and I hope I had done the same to you. I prayed for your peace and thank you Fini for the beautiful days you gave me. Thank you for listening to my crankiness, thank you for the love and time you have shared. You are the greatest human's companion and will be irreplaceable. No fish would be slept like the way you did, teased me as much as you did and given so much stories like you did.

Dear fini, i fell in ♥ with you since the first time koko gave me and you were in that red plastic jar. Little did koko know that I already loved you and adored the beauty of your fins. You amazed me with you red glowing fins and thats why I called you "Fini".

I love to talk with you, to watch you and even I cried in front of you whenever I had fight with koko. I laughed when you tried to be funny, I adored you and tell everyone how amazing fish you were. Time flew and everyday we got closer. I remembered the time when you got so excited seeing me around and how worried I was when the parasite stucked on you. I know how much you loved to be photographed, loved watching movie with me and loved to get my attentions. But what I did wrong is that instead of me making you better, i made you worst. At first I thought you were just joking around pretending like you were gonna die whenever I gave this new medicine. You joke a lot with me that now I realized you were so much in pains.

The last memory i had was you tried to be so brave when I put the medicine today. You have captured my heart, colored my days and had become a reason why i smile in the morning and eased my sadness. I apologized for hurting you and disappointed you. The tears were keep running when I saw you were almost dead and I knew you saw that too. I really love you and proud of you and now you were gone, I knew I still have a wish that you could risen from the death and let me fixed my mistakes. I missed you already when you just gone. And i waited for you until your last breathe. You were my best companion, my best friend and i love you more than any fishes I have. Fini, since koko gave me to take care of you, I knew you would brought happiness into my life and certainly you did. You made me super worried when you sick and made me loved you with your funny attitudes.

Fini, Im so sorry and I dont know whether I can love any fish like once I did to you because I knew that we were very bonded. Please forgive me and be happy in heaven. You are the best and thank you so much for bringing color into my life. Love you a lot & you'll be missed. And Im so sorry Mr. Gwumpieh for unable to take care the baby you gave me but my intention wasnt wrong. I wanted him to be healthy but this medicine seemed to be very strong. I knew you spent so much time to finally decided to choose him and Im glad it was him. Funny at first why would you gave me fish as an advance anniversary gift but I knew this present is priceless and he was the best gift.

Out of things in life I had done wrong, wanted him to be alive and rewinded another few hours before I gave him the medicine is what I wanted. I regretted a lot but to cry and deeply regret is rarely happened. And fini, i regretted, deeply apologized and please come back fini. .... I love you :(

Jailolo, I'm Coming!"

"Jailolo, I'm Coming!" Blog Contest yang diselenggarakan oleh Festival Teluk Jailolo dan Wego Indonesia"

When I was checking out wego's facebook page and saw the "Festival Teluk Jailolo", it got me wondered and asked Mr. Google. The name is rather unfamiliar and my photographer’s friends haven’t talk about it. I checked Mr. Google's images and ended up with "wow", a must to capture their festival with my better-half". Of course, who doesn't want to show to the world, for a place that is still unheard or discovered by many and the best about it? It's in Indonesia!

One of the reasons of wanting to see and capture this festival is to show the world about the beauty of Indonesia other than Bali, Bromo and Komodo Island. There are tons of awesome places in Indonesia and yet they didn't get a chance to be locally or internationally known. And seeing what I’ve seen in Google, I’m sure that by the time of next year, this festival would be flooded with photographers and travellers as it’ll make them even more curious when they see the awesome images produces by this year photo-shoots!

Another reason is although I’m an Indonesian but I haven’t gotten any chance to capture any Indonesian’s traditional festivals. So imagine how super excited I will be and of course, I’m hoping my fiancé to come along because captures great human-interest photos while I’m more into capturing events. Just imagine on how powerful our images will be when we combine our photos and promote them.

Picture speaks louder” that is how I'll promote Jailolo publicly. The sharing’s button in Facebook (or any social media) will be one of the tools I’ll be using – shared my images with simple captions and posting my images into some photography’s communities. Online promotion reaches local and international target market. Although it may not reach a specific target market but it will be a good way to brand the place, which is a win-win solution too. As we all know by doing TV commercials and newspapers ads we would be spending hundreds and hundreds of millions, perhaps half-billions or more!

Radio commercial is good but remember, once people talk about the place, those radio DJs will eventually “mentioned and discussed” the place. Simply, it means free promotion. Yes, you can invite some famous radio DJs, photographers (or the rising ones) and bloggers to experience the place. And another way to promote is to put the images into some photography’ exhibitions and many more.

Well, I’m giving very simple and effective advertising methods because we are promoting a place not a service. For promoting a place, picture speaks louder and more influential than words. Once they get “aw” by the photos, eventually, they will be seeking information and promoting the place through words even by means they haven’t been there yet. This is a very simple, inexpensive and accurate promotion for promoting a new place as Facebook, bloggers, and exhibitions do the wonder.

Quick Gateway : BROMO Day 2 (Part 2)

We continued the journey to I don't know what the place called but if you go to Bromo, then the driver will be bringing you to this place. If you have missed the first part, then do click here : BROMO DAY 2. Anyway, to go to this place, took around 5 - 20 minutes journey and still can't remember, no matter how many times I tried to recall the name. This huge place is very famous for horse and car racing and we hope we can catch the horse race rituals around 22nd or 28th August.  Seeing this place and capturing them made you feel like we need the widest lens ever been invented because the place is so beautiful. Especially when you can get the clear blue sky which unfortunately, we didn't get that but even we missed it yet its still beautiful.

Okay! now the truth has to be told and knowing I believe myself is a queen, so I decided to hire the horse instead of walking and hiking through the mountain ha-ha-ha! You can rent a horse in here too and we hired them for 150,000 IDR per person for return. Although it's expensive (and you can bargain if you are local) but I think it's worth it than to take the whole journey to up and get doomed before we go to the next place. Mr. Gwumpieh is the most happiest person on earth at that day, in that time as after so many years, finally, he could ride a horse and see how dashing he's in the photo (who took?ME #proud :p)

And while I was waiting for them to go up in the hill, I decided to just take pictures of the horses and oh my horse's name is Harun, 6 years old and male. Say hello to Harun everyone and isn't he look too adorable? He looks more like a donkey than a horse in the pictures but I really fell in love with him and would love to own him!

Done with my first horse photography and now, here are the random photos of the place we took which I knew I didn't take a good ones but I guess, it's enough to see its beauty.OH yeah I forgot to tell that these photos aren't edited and fresh from my Sony Nex-7's camera with HDR tones

WAIT! the journey continues and this time we go to the famous mountain called " The Telletubies" and goodness me, such an awesome place for pre-wed photoshoot

Hello Friday!

Since the client requested for a sneak peek so I just randomly chose whatever attractive photos my sore eyes saw ha-ha-ha! Today, we got so tired due to unimportant long traffic from Plaza Indonesia to FX which is supposedly only took around 15 minutes with no traffic. But was so happy as well that we had our favorite food at the street stall in front of Plaza Indonesia. Their street stall sells a lot of good food in very reasonable price which made both of us addicted and craved for long. Actually, it's such a lovely friday when I recalled back and also we got a new offer, a new challenge and feel so much bless for the upcoming exhibition in this month and looking forward for more exhibitions in the future. This time, with a proper team, we are looking forward for presenting our kids' photography business in a lot better and more presentative ways. I'm quite groggy but I know HE have given this task at the right time and we just need to grab the opportunity and BE BETTER.

And once again, my time flew just like that, had no idea what I did but it's almost 2.30am in here and both of my eyes are just craving for a good sleep! Time flew too fast most of time and I hope I can utilized time in a better way and start to grown up.  Anyway, here are my favorite images from Denver's birthday and more photos can be seen at my kids' photography page on Facebook : Lil Sunshine Photography and don't forget to like and share :D!
