Monday Issue : FORGET WORK, LET'S GO ON DATE!

♥, ♥ ,♥ , we love monday! well for the grumpy's family, we do because monday has always been an official holiday for our kids' photography business. Ignore the world and living in our own world is basically what Monday means for us. Slow in replying email (tends to ignore) and forget the business inquiry or whatever bother us =D!! *yeah, o wonder we love monday, right?

Goodbye exhibition and i had an awesome sleep at night, felt like i released all the burden of doing 32 days exhibition - all the stress were finally just gone in a click! Both of us were in a lot of pressure, so much expectations, disappointments, lessons we learnt, free advices, and lots of improvement needs to be done. But above these heavy pressure, we are very thankful for the opportunity given, for the lesson we learnt and it's time to improve ourselves into better - for business and personal life. But we started our new week by spending time together and went for a date. A movie date we called it.

Every since, I saw the movie poster at Blitz, there was this strong urge of me wanted to watch it! I barely wanted to watch Bollywood movie as eager as this unless, my favorite actors are in it. No, I'm not a big fan nor a grudge against Ranbir Kapoor. But this simple poster, made me just wanted to see. I didn't check the trailer of the movie, neither I knew what the story about but I kept checking Blitz's website waiting for the movie to be out! It was out in Friday, 14th of September, wanted to watch but the time wasn't right, so we skipped instead.

I had NO expectation of this movie but just like the review said the movie will keep you "SPEECHLESS" at the end and I did. I've to be honest, I cried for so many times as there are a lot of very touchy sceneries. Barfi! is another awesome Bollywood movie released this year after Agent Vinod.  Barfi! is definitely reminding you just like Charlie Chaplin and the way the movie made is also like those kind of classic, vintage, and they made it just wow, speechless.

It is not about the story only but the way it's being made even the back & forth story were done perfectly. The ways they acted, totally so much dedication and goodness me, it's just perfect! 10/10, a movie you would want to watch it again, again and so again. Barfi! (supposedly Murphy), is a mute & deaf guy whom everyone loves fell in love with two woman - Shurti and Jhilmil but that is not what the story about. Simple as it sounds, but a lot of heart-touchy moments and it's about falling in love with the perfect woman and the imperfect ones. This movie make me even feel so thankful to have Mr. Grumpy by my side and yes, in a funny way, imperfect makes perfection. It is not about having a perfect relationship, perfect partner, but it is also about accepting the imperfect and giving yourself a second chance to let them enter your life. And do not waste love when you've found the one who love you in silly ways :-)

After the movie, I was craving for Magnum, so we just went for a quick date at Magnum Cafe. Thank GOD, there was no line as it's weekdays and we chose to sit outdoor. We had the same menu - Chocolate Strawberry with Belgian Milk Chocolate, Rice Crispy & Caramel Sauce with Honey Pot as my drink and the mister only order Summer Tango. Honey pot is actually Hazelnut with Banana and highly not recommended as the taste is quite hmmm, it gave me a tummy ache afterwards ha-ha-ha! The taste is really a big no-no, seriously!

So should I be continuously writing what I learnt today like I usually did when I'm on exhibition? Anyway, what i learnt today is that "no matter how hectic your working hours are, a DATE is a must!" It can be taking a day off from your work or go out for unplanned lunch/dinner together. This random date is giving spice in your relationship including your relationship with work. When your mind is relax, you will be working more effectively. Don't do this too often, just once or twice in a month (randomly) or choose the day and make it as an official date.

Not everyone can go for a date on the weekend especially people like us where weekend merely means working days. Wait, I don't encourage you to bludge work overtime, but believe me, those who worth for your time does worth for your money. Working is perfect, it's a necessity but so does to keep the relationship stronger, it requires an effort. Don't forget the ones who have been there with you all the time because they deserve your time and you are meant to make an effort to give yourself and them time to spend even it's just a quick 30 minutes lunch or 30 minutes quick shopping with your friends.

If you are married and have not spent so much time with your wife (or vice-versa), go and ask for a date and if it's a must, then take 1 day off from the office. Seriously, forget the work, forget everything and living in the world where only just both of you and spending time like previously before got married or busy with work.  This is just my tips, from someone who is not yet married but working together with the hubby-to-be- and when you are doing business together, DO NOT talk about WORK/BUSINESS related. We choose the number "3" every month as our anniversary date where we will be emptying our schedule for a quick date whether it's lunch/dinner (even we have work) and talk about random thing. So whenever we work (even when we were on exhibition), we will be stealing some you & i moment, just for appreciate the LORD for the awesome togetherness moments HE gives :-)
